Kelvin Davis is the goalie chosen as the best in the league this season. This shows how impressively he has played even with the odd error.
Calderon (Brighton) is right-back and deservedly so with his supreme performances for the sea-gulls.
Jose Fonte is the second of our five players. His commanding presence in our defence has stood the team in fine stead throughout the season.
Greer (Brighton) has also had a superb season as the backbone of the Champions defence.
Dan Harding has had a few question his right to be played before Ryan Dickson but he has had a solid and at times superb season as our left-back.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may have only played for half of the season and may be a bit fortunate to have been selected but his impact when he started playing in the first team was immediate.
Pilkington (Huddersfield)is a player I have liked for quite a while and injury apart has been a key member of the Huddersfield team.
Bennett (Brighton) is another from the leagues champions and has also had a great season.
Adam Lallana has been the star of our team for a couple of seasons now and we have noticed his loss a lot when he has been out through injury. He is probably the best player in the league this season.
Mackail-Smith (Peterborough) has had a marvellous season scoring a hat-full of goals for promotion chasing Peterborough.
Wright-Phillips (Plymouth/Charlton) has scored a few goals including one against us and has surprised a few by the regularity of his scoring.
All in all a solid looking side with plenty of attacking options available to it. Congratulations to all that have been selected for the season’s best eleven.
