With the announcement of the signing of Danish centre-half Jannik Vestergaard the other day by Southampton, it didn’t take too long at all to start seeing the reactions to the news flood in.
I guessed many would be happy with his capture, I am certainly am and think he’ll be a big asset to us moving forward given what I’ve been able to learn about him and it is abundantly obvious that plenty of others feel the same.

For fullness, the 25-year-old joins from Borussia Monchengladbach and he’s signed a four-year deal at St Mary’s Stadium.
One thing that did jump out at me from the social media comments that followed his signing was one fan, in particular, seems to have been incredibly blessed the last few seasons when it comes to Friday, July 13. Friday the 13th is supposed to be unlucky for some if you believe in that side of life, but the opposite couldn’t be truer here.
