Adams Park, Wycombe could be the first of many appearances for our youngster who has impressed since starting in the first team.

Since he began his run for us in the first team this season, Alex has proven to be a very useful acquisition to the first team squad.

He started by coming off of the bench as an impact player but recently has made a few starts and shown a great deal of promise.

He has some power and is not afraid to run at players and take them on.

England coach Noel Blake has said that the Under 18’s is an important age bracket and we have a very strong contingent of players.

In fact several of the Under 19’s could revert back to the Under 18’s if needed so strong is the age group.

Luckily for our future we seem to have a remarkably strong competition for places with so many good young players available.

Whether Alex plays or not I hope that he can enjoy the atmosphere and experience.

If he does get a chance I am confident that he will show everone what he can do.
