Saints stopper Bartosz Bialkowski was the man on form in the Polish under 20’s side as they locked horns with South Koreas under 20’s side in the under 20’s World cup.

Dawid Janczyk netted on 45 minutes for the Poles, and Sang Ho Lee netted from the South Koreans, the goal stood despite the fact it looked a foul on Bartosz Bialkowski.

Bartosz made some fantastic saves, mostly thanks to his superb positioning. Korea dominated large periods of the game. If it wasn’t the keeper denying the Koreans it was the offside flag.

The young saints player was carried off the pitch by players and coaching staff after his superb performance made sure Poland have a place in the last 16.

This means Bartosz will miss lots of this seasons pre-season. He is likely to have some resting time when he gets back to England after the World Cup.
