On Sky

Southampton face opponents in Birmingham who have gone on a great run since finishing their European adventure, so much so they have climbed into the play-off places.

Indeed it could be said that they are swiftly overhauling the clubs at the top and are looking to continue this run on Saturday. They are still unbeaten this season at St Andrews and will be exceedingly tough opponents for the Saints.

Southampton have shown a loss of form of late but there was the hint of a possible return to their early season form in the last game at home to Cardiff. A spirited second half performance gave us a point as we equalised an earlier Cardiff goal and it was felt by all at the stadium that the team was unlucky not to win.

With players returning from injury and additions made to the squad hopefully these signs can be turned into a powerful attacking styled game in which we can hold sway.
