Southampton have been desperate to find consistency for the majority of this season, especially in recent months.

So coming off the back of a 6-0 away victory over one of your promotion rivals, would surely be the time to stick with the team and see if they can build off of that result.

Will Burley stay loyal? Or will he shuffle his pack once again?

He told the Echo: ‘It’s always been a squad game.

‘Every game’s different and we’ve got two games in three days, so we’ll look at that.

‘We’ve got a good squad and they all play their part, whether they play every week or not.

‘The players last Saturday got a great result and there’s no doubt there have been games where we’ve deserved to score six goals where we haven’t done.

‘It’s a strong squad which certainly did the business last Saturday.’
