Southampton fans aren’t ever expecting their Argentine striker Guido Carrillo to come good at St. Mary’s, and now that he’s left on-loan to ply his trade for Leganes for the 2019/20 season plenty of them are delighted.
#SaintsFC forward @carrilloguido9 has today completed a season-long loan move to @CDLeganes: https://t.co/s1dezmVcIe

The striker, signed during the abysmal reign of Mauricio Pellegrino, was the club’s record transfer buy when he made his £19m move from Monaco to the English south coast, BBC, although his time at the club has been woeful.
The frontman, in his 18 months at the club since his January 2018 move, has made ten appearances for Southampton, scoring zero goals and pitching in with just two assists, Transfermarkt, and now the fans are desperate for him to be sold.

The Saints seem delighted that Carrillo isn’t their problem this season, and with a bit of luck, the striker can fire for Leganes and get a permanent deal there next summer.
