A lot of Southampton fans were left depressed and deprived of any confidence in their team following Friday night’s abomination, yet supporters just want one thing from the squad heading into tonight’s clash with Manchester City.

At least one head bandage, two bloodied noses, a dislocated shoulder, visible breath at every corner due to taking in oxygen when ball out of play and at least 6 players collapsing to the ground through sheer exhaustion at the final whistle. Please

Pride to wear the shirt. Players looking like they somewhat care for the club. Giving every ounce of effort that they can.

Southampton will be without Ryan Bertrand tonight as well, as the former Chelsea defender was sent off in Friday’s loss against Leicester.
