Saints started the month in Croydon, as they took on Crystal Palace. James Scrowcorft gave the home side the lead on the 74th minute, before Stern John’s late equaliser on 83. Andrew Surman and Marek Saganowski set-up the goal. On of the talking points was the throwing session between supporters at the end of the game.

on the 9th QPR where the visitors and took all 3 points in a 3-2 defeat for Gorman and Dodd. Darren Powell gave the saints the lead, before 3 QPR goals. Stern John scored in the last minute to make the scoreline look half respectable.

Saints travelled up to Stoke on the 12th, going 3-0 down from 3 corners in the first half. Saints showed some grit to get it back to 3-2 but failed to gain any points. Stern John on target twice for the Saints.

Cup defeat followed as a lackluster saints churned up rubbish yet again, this time infront of the BBC cameras and 2000 saints away fans at Bristol Rovers. A Jermaine Wright own goal seperated the teams.

The 22nd saw saints get humiliated by pasty-munching Pixies from Plymouth. Saints went 2-0 down thanks to a mix-up between Jermaine Wright and Andrew Surman and a goalkeeping error.

A Gregory Vignal penalty earned a point for Nigel Pearson in his first full game as saints gaffer.
