Former Saint Lands At Colchester

Former Southampton left back Ryan Dickson has finally found himself a new club after being released in June by our club.

Ryan was bought from Brentford after a tribunal set the transfer price in 2010. Though he looked like a steady performing player Ryan was not able to play many games but did help us climb out of League One.

After being released last month things were beginning to look a shade grim when his home town club rejected him after a trial. Luckily Colchester were waiting in the wings and after another trial Ryan has been given a one years contract.

Plenty of time for him to earn an extension.

As a player who always seemed to give his best for the team I wish Ryan well at Colchester and hope he can resurrect his career.
