On Saturday Southampton confirmed that 22-year-old striker Ryan Seager had now left the Staplewood Campus and headed for a loan spell out with Dutch side Telstar.
The deal is for the entire 2018/19 campaign and Telstar finished 6th in the Eerste Divisie during the 2017/18 season. That’s the Dutch second tier for anyone who didn’t know. The loan spell will build on the experience he gained last season having had loan spells out with MK Dons and Yeovil Town.

Last summer he headed to MK Dons and made 15 starts, seven substitute shows and he returned three goals. Having been recalled in the January transfer window, he was sent back out to Yeovil where he added an additional two starts to his name and five substitute showings. That spell added a further goal to his tally.
I believe he’s out of contract next summer so it’s probably a good opportunity for him to get his name out there as plenty of fans don’t think he’ll be back.
BECAUSE WE'RE BUYING A 20+ GOAL A SEASON STRIKER??????? ????

Interesting move for him. Think sooner or later though we have to give him a chance or let him go. Hopefully a good season for him in Holland and take a look next summer. Got talent but gotta prove its premier league talent. Good luck to him.

Sent one of our young players there last season (Reading) and he ended up scoring 15+ goals and called up the US national team worth a try.

Good Luck Ryan. I'm sure there gonna see you score lots of goals. Then next season come back and do it for us in the premier league
