Southampton picked up a second straight win on the bounce under new manager Ralph Hasenhuttl as we saw off Huddersfield Town ahead of Christmas Day to build on the sterling victory over Arsenal.

With eyes turning to Thursday’s clash against West Ham United, fans will certainly be hoping for more of the same from the side as we do have fresh impetus and there is a growing confidence in the group when you look at the general performances now being put in.

That’s not to say there aren’t plenty of improvements that can still be made.

On the back of the Huddersfield clash though, whilst there was praise for a number of players, Nathan Redmond definitely stole the show for some as he found himself on the scoresheet and also helped himself to an assist on the day – goals and assists long being an issue for fans as everyone knows he needed to improve his end product.
