It is no secret that the Saints’ youth system is one of the best in English football, with some of the game’s most well-known and talented names learning the art of the game on the south coast with the likes of Gareth Bale, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott just a handful of names to come through the famed academy.
And the stars of the show today are already proving they could have what it takes to one day feature for the first-team as Southampton released a video showcasing the club’s various youth team’s best goals for the month of September, yet one goal stood out above the rest.
Goal A of the video, scored by the youngest player in the short clip, amazed Southampton supporters, and many took to social media to praise the U-9 star for his sensational strike, with some prematurely calling him to play for the first-team.
