Whilst they will be hoping for that, Leeds, Charlton and Swindon will be hoping for a Huddersfield win.

All in all, the top eight teams all have something to gain if the right result is forthcoming at the end of the game.

Colchester can catch them tomorrow if the Terriers were to lose tonight and Southampton could close the gap by three points. Though both would need to win to make it count.

Millwall lose and they are almost certainly out of the race for an automatic promotion place. This must surely make them more determined, even if they are going to be scared witless in case of a mistake.

Huddersfield have been on a poor run recently and will be even more concerned than Millwall. Millwall have the play-offs to fall back on. The Terriers lose does not mean they are out of the equation but it does give other teams a chance of closing back up to them.

So to cut it short, tonight is a big, big game for both teams. The alternative would be for both teams to draw. Bad on both but less damaging slightly than a loss.

Who is going to win this game and make another step forward to the finishing line? Huddersfield or Millwall?

  • Amillwall win would be very nice as would a draw. Which ever won we got would be very welcome.

  • As you well know Galfarm is not an easy place to go- (Especially quick turn a round travelling from the mighty Yeovil 3 days ago) Millskum were very lucky Tuesday night, Hudds cannot afford to drop any points, as both teams start 0-0 with a point expect them to protect it, probably a draw. Knowing Hudds, an attacking free scoring team at home, they are likely to have a go – Jackett will be cautious & try pick them off on the counter.

  • SW you have read it much the same as me. I guess you like us wouldn’t mind a draw either. I am sort of feeling a draw will be our best option because the Terriers do have goals in them.

  • Terriers fully deserved their win but if they meet Millwall in play-offs they will probably come a cropper. millwall were a sad cover of the team that had done so well recently. Almost as though they were playing to lose as they were not very adventurous until near the finish.
