Lots of Southampton fans howled with laughter over reported interest in defender Jannik Vestergaard.
According to the Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet, the 17-cap international is top of the Foxes’ summer shopping list for the summer, having already attempted to sign him in January.
The report added that the Saints will want a fee of Β£26m for his services, with Ralph Hasenhuttl having blocked a move to the 2015/16 Premier League champions in the winter months.
Ship out Jannik Vestergaard?
Yes, without a doubt!
No, worth keeping!
Vestergaard has been heavily criticised this season for some of his performances and has only scored once in 42 appearances.
Unsurprisingly, supporters were not so complimentary towards the Danish man and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he would “pay for the fuel” to ship him out, while another suggested that he “isn’t worth 26p”, let along Β£26m.
I’ll drive him
