It’s felt like an eternity since Southampton last contested in the Premier League, yet this weekend will see top-flight English football return to St. Mary’s, and a player could be in line to make his debut for the Saints.

Kyle Walker-Peters joined the south coast side from Tottenham in the final days of the January transfer window, and the 22-year-old defender is in with a chance to make his first start for Southampton since joining the club with the Spurs academy graduate the club’s only fit right-back heading into tomorrow’s game.
And lots of Saints fans on social media were buzzing to see their new signing take to the field tomorrow when Burnley make the trip down south, with plenty of supporters eager to see what their January addition can do in the absence of Cedric Soares, who left for Arsenal last month.
Here’s what many Southampton fans had to say on Twitter…
Good luck mate if/when you start. I’m predicting an assist

As stats from Transfermarkt show, Walker-Peters has hardly played football this season.
