Southampton starlet Adam Lallana has committed his future to the club.
Lallana, 21, was seen to be Southampton’s most valuable player after Surman joined Wolves, but the England Under-21 international has said he would like to stay at St. Mary’s.
The completion of Saints’ takeover sees the club have a more stable financial situation, and players like Lallana are able to stay with the Hampshire club.
Speaking to the official website, Lallana said:’I want to build on my goals tally.
‘I got three last season so if I could get into double figures then that would be brilliant.
‘I’m 100% committed to Southampton, I’ve got two years left here and I’m definitely going to be here for at least the next year and hopefully a few more.’
