Lallana Wants Success

In all of the time that he has been with the club, I doubt whether he has felt the surge of emotion that is currently running through our City before.

In anticipation of our successful conclusion to this season, our manor has come alive in a manner not seen for a very long time.

Plymouth are as desperate for the points as we are but for a completely different reason.

They are trying to avoid relegation and need to win both of their matches while none of the clubs immediately above them gain any points whatsoever.

Lallana talking on the OS says that the team is fully focussed on the job at hand.

‘You can look at it in all kinds of different ways – they need a win because they could be going down and they could come at us, but we go at teams no matter what.’

He went on, ‘We want to win and that’s all we are going to concentrate on. We’ve got to get the job done first, so let’s not run before we can walk.’

With tickets restricted at Home Park we will have a lot fewer fans at the game than we could have had. I still expect them to be heard today and the players to produce the required result.

Adam also spoke about how David Connolly has come into the side and has been simply magnificent. Pure class is how Adam describes our little Irish striker.

The good news as far as we the fans are concerned is that Lallana says he is fine now and fully fit.

Great news for us and all that the team has to do is deliver the final touches to a great season.
