Le Tiss takeover gets stalled

Pinnacle’s attempt to takeover Southampton FC has taken a last minute halt as the 21 day exclusivity comes to an end.

The three week period, which meant no other party could launch a bid to buy the south coast outfit, came to an end yesterday.

Matthew Le Tissier fronts the Pinnacle group, and all Saints fans were waiting for the deal to conclude yesterday.

However, the Football League intervened, stating how they require in writing that the club will not appeal the ten point penalty following the clubs fall into administration.

The Pinnacle group feel that the club should not start next season in League One on minus ten, and therefore are wanting to fight the case to the Football League.
