Darren Randolph of Charlton earns the keeper reward with some outstanding saves.

Craig Alcock, Paul Robinson, Marlon Broomes and Lee Peltier fill the back four positions.

Michail Antonio, Richard Taundry, Darel Russell and Elliott Bennett take the four midfield places.

Luciano Becchio and Jordan Rhodes fill the remaining two places and make a pretty good looking team.

Alcock of Yeovil and Broomes of Tranmere show that even players in the lower placed teams can make the team of the week.

The top teams as usual are well represented with Brighton’s Bennett Walsall’s Taundry the only other players selected that play for a team below the top seven.

Huddersfield have overcome their drop in form at the right time to earn their place in the play-offs. They are represented by two players in this weeks’ list.

Whilst most fans in the division will have their own favourite from this specially selected team, mine has to be Antonio.

Michael Antonio has improved a lot since coming to Southampton. He has become an integral part of the team and has still more developing in him as far as I can see.

Whether we will be able to keep him for next season we do net yet know. Reading may decide to sell but at the moment he is still a loanie who has stated thast he would love to come to Saints fulltime. As long as Reading no longer need him that is.
