Luke Shaw has been voted our Apprentice of the Month for November.

The 17 year old made great strides in November, being called into the first team who went four unbeaten with him in the backline.

It’s not only his displays on the pitch that have earnt him this award, whilst he continues working towards his Subsidiary Diploma and NVQ, Luke has had to manage his time better than ever with first team training and the obligations placed on him by being a regular at the moment, and he’s attended extra sessions to make up for any time missed on his full course, and that commitment and endeavour played a big part in him receiving the award.

Academy manager Matthew Crocker told saintsfc.

‘Luke has made massive strides both on and off the field this season. He has worked extremely hard to get his opportunity in the first team and to be playing regularly in the Premier League as a 17 year old is credit to his endeavour and application.’

Well done Luke, keep on
