There can be few Southampton fans who haven’t now watched the Che Adams arrival graphic that the clubs’ media team pulled together when we announced the capture of the 22-year-old from Birmingham City.

The talented young striker had long been a target for the club and manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, and having finally got him over the line for a reported £15million at the beginning of the week, well, the Hasenhuttl Express was as genius as we’ve now come to expect from the club.

With a Portsmouth ship appearing in Moussa Djenepo’s edition, the club stepped it up a gear in this one and had Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spying on the train through some binoculars and it garnered the exact reception you’d expect from Southampton fans.

It seems Liverpool fans more than saw the humorous side of the small dig as well as they took to social media to react to the graphic.
