These Southampton fans were not pleased to discover the update regarding the Premier League’s ‘Project Start’.
With top-flight officials keen to see the league restarted when it safe enough to do so, the clubs have been given the responsibility of voting on what they feel is the best course of action going forward.
On Monday, it was unanimously voted by more than 14 of the 20 clubs for players to return to small-group training.

We are currently 14th in the standings, seven points ahead of the likes of West Ham United, Watford and Bournemouth who were all snaking into the relegation zone before the season was suspended.
Because of this, supporters were not impressed in the slightest and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that the league officials should “make it stop”, while another bluntly described the decision as “ridiculous”.
