“Mixture Of Inspector Gadget & Paulo Maldini” “Blows My Mind” – Southampton Man Continues Recent Resurgence

|

Wednesday evening’s victory over Fulham at St Mary’s Stadium saw Southampton move out of the relegation zone in the Premier League, as we moved just ahead of Cardiff City.

With back to back defeats in the last two matches, it was more a vintage Southampton performance as manager Ralph Hasenhuttl got more of what he wanted from the squad, and key to that was the performance of centre-half Jan Bednarek.

With goals from Oriol Romeu and James Ward-Prowse on the night, 22-year-old Polish international Bednarek played his own part, helping the side to a clean sheet and he’s certainly one player who has been on an upward curve since our new Austrian gaffer arrived and he found himself back in the first team fold.

Continuing to impress, fans believe there is a lot more to come from the lad and taking to social media to comment on his performance after the game, he came in for considerable praise.
