Murty Another Killer?

I am sorry, but I find this situation very strange. More than that, I find it downright surprising and slightly worrying.

Murty was released last week because of his knee and ankle injuries. Last season he managed a total of 9 appearances for the club and not all were for the complete game.

Having had the four year fiasco with Killer I pray that we are not going down the same road again.

Murty has been allowed by Alan Pardew to train at Staplewood to try and get fit enough to join in the pre-season training when it begins.

Whilst GM has shown considerable skill in that position, I am afraid that He has gone physically. I know that I back AP in his dealings but I am wary of this one.

GM admits that his two injuries have been major ones and that AP has given no guarentees with regard to the future.

My hope is that if Graeme does manage to get back to peak fitness he is able to do a job for us without interruption.

I would expect to see AP put Graeme on a play for pay type of scheme. That said who will want to come to Saints as our RB knowing that we may have Murty still on board.

We need to get one if not two RB’s in before next season and this situation could be detrimental to our cause.
