The Echo has confirmed that the man who invested over a quarter of a million pounds in Southampton last week, is indeed Jersey businessman Tom Scott.
Scott purchased 550,000 shares in Southampton Leisure Holdings plc on Friday, with 300,000 shares sold by Rupert Lowe’s father Patrick.
The Echo also confirmed that Scott is not a personal friend of Lowe’s which the Telegraph reported yesterday.
