In what could be perceived as a late April Fools Story, the Echo has reported that Micheal Svensson is set to have a new knee cartilage grown in a Swedish Lab!

The procedure is apparently what brought Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back to scoring form for Manchester United.

Part of Svensson’s cartilage has already been removed and will be harvested in a lab, to make it bigger and stronger before attaching it back into Svensson’s knee.

Unfortunately though the procedure will add another a 18 month’s to his recovery which has only seen him play seven times in the past three seasons.
