Matt Le Tiss has tweeted Michael Owen suggesting he moves to the South Coast and the former England international seems open to the idea apparently.
I don’t think this will be the daftest link of the summer from the press to be honest, but it made me smile.
Le Tiss tweeted.
‘Maybe the warmer south coast should be your next destination mate, better for your muscles.’
Owen’s response was simply.
‘Open to offers!!!’
Well he would be open to offers after Manchester United didn’t offer him a new contract.
