Mauricio Pochettino has called on the team to keep their focus when we face West Ham because he won’t let them get distracted by a top ten finish now that is plausible.

With our recent back to back wins lifting us into 11th place, finishing in the top ten is now more than plausible if we can keep our form going, but Poch has said he wants the team to keep taking it one step at a time, and game by game, rather than getting carried away with ‘what if’s’.

Speaking to saintsfc Poch explained.

‘I say the same things to my players that I do the media. We cannot lose focus by looking at the long term. It’s important to focus on the day to day and to work every single day. We have to prepare for every game as if it was the last one we were going to play, because every single match from now until the end of the season is really important.’
