With the departure of Mark Hughes and the temporary appointment of Kelvin Davis for Wednesday evening’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur, our long-standing club legend was thrust in front of the cameras as he looked to our next game.

Covering a number of topics, there were also plenty of smiles as can be seen in the above video.
Ryan Bertrand, Matt Targett, Danny Ings are ‘significant doubts’ for the game, and youngster Michael Obafemi continues to struggle with the hamstring injury he picked up in his first league start for the club the other day.
Midfielder Mario Lemina is also missing as he serves an automatic one-game suspension having picked up five yellow cards.
Given Davis’ association with the club, his temporary appointment has gone over well with the fans and you can see from the above press conference, he made a big play about pride and passion when wearing the shirt and that certainly went over well with fans on social media.
Came over really well I think – kept on about the pride and passion in wearing the shirt and that's what we want to see
