HULL CITY have made a bid for Southampton midfielder David Prutton.

New Hull City manager Phil Brown put in a bid of around £200,000-£250,000 but Saints boss George Burley has rejected the offer.

Telling Echo: ‘We had an offer from Hull a few days ago which we turned down.

‘I spoke to David and he’s committed to the club but naturally wants first team football.

‘At the moment he’s not a first team regular in the starting XI and it’s a case of looking at it from there.’

  • Would any Saints fans speculate on what price Prutton would be sold for? given his past injury and free status in the summer? Also do you want to see him go?
