Saints sign Antony Pulis from Stoke City on a two year deal to further strengthen their squad.

The 24 year old, who’s dad Tony, is manager of his former club Stoke, opted to join Saints in order to enhance his career have improve his chances of first team football.

It seems that Stoke and Southampton are setting up some sort of friendship over the past few months. First the pre season game, then Andrew Davies signing and now young Pulis.

Pulis has decribed himself as ‘being able to put in a shift’. And that is exactly what we are after. A bit of heart on the sleeve never goes amiss, and if he can half play compared with what the reports are sayin, we might have got another coup.
