The giant Tunisian centre-half has played consistantly at the highest level in his career in England. Yet he confessed that if he had to keep out the Saints attack he would not know where to start.

He also reckons that any team facing us right now would do so thinking that it would be a hard game. Because we now have quality in attack and also in the midfield Jaidi feels that it must be difficult to know what tactics are needed to compete with us.

His partnership with Jose Fonte has also pleased the big friendly giant. He feels that the two of them have hit it off from the start. It is almost as though they know where they are on the pitch without having to look.

Jaidi also says that the mood in the camp now is a positive one as the team continues to grow and he hopes that this will cilminate in the team coming into form at the right time.

‘Everybody is happy, everybody is satisfied I think, but we are still concentrating on the games coming up. Especially this Saturday which will not be an easy game.’

The smiling faces in the changing room tells him that everyone is happy. Confidence is high and each player seems to enjoy every moment of success felt by another. ‘We can feel it in ourselves,’ Jaidi added. The spirit in the camp is tremendous and that is a good thing.

Radhi looks and sounds like a very contented man. Happy with his lot and looking forward to the immediate future.

  • If the team is that happy I hope that they turn up at Prenton Park ready to go. Tranmere would love it if we started on a high and were over confident.

  • He won’t be as glad tonight, I bet. Why oh why do we always have to do this? We beat the best and lose to the lower teams. I know I should be used to it by now.

  • Radhi is a giant of a man. If he has seen so much from our attacking force I have to believe that they are good. I hope that he is right.

  • Don’t know what went wrong but we didn’t do that well. Apart from missed chances we should have been able to beat this team if we really had plans on making the playoffs.
