Vital Rangers have reported that the Scottish giants are chasing Southampton striker Grzegorz Rasiak.

Rangers are currently being humiliated by fierce rivals Celtic in the SPL.

Former Saints manager Gordon Strachan is set to win another title with Celtic as they lead Rangers by 19 points.

But new Rangers manager Walter Smith already has one eye on next season and along with Blackburn Rovers they appear to be interested in £2million rated Rasiak.

Vital Rangers reports: ‘First team coach Kenny McDowall travelled down to watch him on Saturday, but he was an unused sub in Southampton’s 1-0 victory over Ipswich.’
