George Burley has insisted that Rasiak was only rested from the first team on Saturday and not simply dropped due to his lack of goals at SMS.
Burley told the Echo: ‘Grzegorz has had a lot of games recently.
‘He also plays international football and three games in six days (the previous week) was tough on him.
‘But Kenwyne is bang in form so we decided to go for Marek and I felt that partnership looked lively.’
