The three mentioned will be facing an extra charge of tax evasion in relation to the termination fee of Eyal Berkovic, Southwark Crown Court was told yesterday.

Redknapp and Mandaric already faced two charges of cheating the public revenue.

Peter Storrie was already charged seperately over a players signing on fee.

Mandaric and Storrie will appear at City of Westminster Majistrates Court on June 17th and 9th repectively.

All three are due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on September 14th ahead of a possible trial next spring.

Under the new charge Storrie and Mandaric are accused of making an off-shore payment to terminate Bercovic’s contract. No tax has either beendeclared or paid.

Mandaric and Redknapp are also charged with tax evasion and National Contribution evasion between April 1st 2002 and November 28th 2007.

For me this is another addition to the whole sorry, sordid tale of dodgy dealing at Pompey during their time their.
