20 year old Ben Reeves is hoping he did enough against Everton to be considered to play another part in the first team in our next game.

Speaking to saintsfc Reeves explained.

‘There’s been a massive change of events for me. It was a bad start to the season, I was ill and was with the U21’s when I hoped to start with the first team. Hopefully I’ve shown that I’m string enough to bounce back, and I hope I get more and more chances with the first team so I’ll be pushing for that. I got on against Sheffield Wednesday and then against Everton, so it was really good. I’ve got a bit more experience and now I feel ready.’

Good to see Adkins sticking to the plan of blooding youngsters and sending the message out to our Academy and U21 side that if you are good enough, you will be given the chance. Should be the extra motivation they all need to put that bit more into training knowing the rewards will come.
