Is James Ward-Prowse's Southampton's most important player?

Yes, we'd be lost without him

No, there are others who are more important

The promising attacker said: “I’m over the moon. I’m really happy to have signed my first professional contract at the club and I’m looking forward to carrying on now. I have to work even harder and try my best in everything that I do. This club brings through a lot of good players and young talent, so hopefully, I can be one of the next, but for now, I want to score as many goals as possible, get assists and help the team win.”

And it wasn’t just Mitchell who was delighted to sign a pro deal with the Saints, with club Academy Director Matt Hale also expressing his delight with the young forward committing his future to Southampton.

Hale said: “We have an acquisition model which looks for high potential in players, who are also a good fit for our culture here at Southampton. Ramello is an ideal fit and complements our youth programme, in terms of developing players through a long-term pathway at the club.”
