A leaked Government dossier has been obtained which could explain the outcome of the Premier League season and when fans will be allowed into stadiums.

With football currently suspended, it has been a hotly-debated topic as to how the current campaign should be concluded with just nine games left to play.

Southampton are currently 14th in the Premier League table, seven points ahead of the likes of West Ham United, Watford and Bournemouth who are all level on points from 16th to 18th, and five points behind Burnley in the top 10.

The Daily Mirror is claiming that a 50-page, five-point plan has been drawn up by the Prime Minister which includes when big crowds will be allowed to form once more.

Will the Premier League be completed?

Yes

No

No

The Premier League are trying to get ‘Project Restart’ up and running, with the Daily Mail revealing that those that oppose the plans could be stripped of their Premier League status and sent down to the Championship.

The report adds that if the project is successful, then the current season could be completed by the end of July. Unfortunately for supporters, we could not be allowed back into St Mary’s until October. This could mean that next season is started behind closed doors or it is put back until fans are allowed in again.

There will be some that will be salivating over the thought of football returning, while others will have their concerns, and understandably so.

I’m sure if football was to be restarted, then it would take place under the strictest possible conditions.
