The pressure is beginning to mount on Ralph Hasenhuttl after an abysmal start to the season, and a former Southampton player has seemingly sided with the supporters.

Ex Saints captain Jose Fonte recently admitted to talkSPORT that he believes Hasenhuttl, who has been in the hot seat on the south coast for almost a year, is not the right manager for Southampton after an atrocious start to the season for the Premier League side.
Is Hasenhuttl still the right man for the job?
Yes, he needs more time
No, he's out of ideas
Southampton currently sit in the relegation zone of the Premier League table after 12 games in the season with the Saints yet to win a game in the division since beating Sheffield United in September, and a weekend trip tp Arsenal this Saturday has supporters already thinking that another defeat will be on the cards.
Fonte has been a divided figure since leaving the club in 2016, but supporters on social media agreed with the former captain on Hasenhuttl.
Here’s what some Southampton fans had to say about Fonte’s comments on Twitter, with supporters agreeing with what their former captain had to say about Hasenhuttl…
Still a Saint at heart with that statement.

Can’t argue against him to be honest … I still question a lot of Ralph’s decisions. I think he’s one more hammering before being shown the door #joseformanager

If Fonte is saying this you can guarantee it’s the opinion of some of his old friends in the dressing room

Three points against Arsenal will see Southampton escape the relegation zone.
