Redrobin sends the first of a series of open letters, one after every match in the final run to the play-offs.

Dear George, many congratulations; what a great day; a hatful scored and none against; and to think that you did it with very reduced options on who to select!

Well, for the match against Luton, things just get worse, or easier, depending on your point of view. For Luton you have zero options – you have to pick the same team that did so well against Wolves.

Why? Reasons include fielding the best goalkeeper in the Championship, recognising that Claus is past his sell by date, and laying down the message to all the squad that you are rewarded if you are successful.

Anyhow, just think of the bench… Bale and Baird for starters…or in this case, non starters.

The bad news now is that we could become the best team not to be promoted. The run in remains difficult, more so than, say, Cardiff’s.

But we have the squad, we have the support, and we clearly have some winners!

The final need is for bold and courageous management.

George, go for it!
