Danny Guthrie who is on loan at SMS from Liverpool has impressed many with his desire to win.
Some have even suggested that he has shown more passion than the rest of the Saints squad.
After the defeat to Colchester, he told the Echo: ‘We lost as we’re trying to chase promotion and it’s slipping away from us.
‘This was a must win game and there was that bit of extra pressure on us but we’ve got to bounce back and keep going.
‘We’re going to keep believing and keep doing our thing.’
