Mark Wotte has revealed that central midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is being eyed up by Premier League sides.

‘There have also been some enquires about Morgan Schneiderlin from clubs in the Premier League. I think that he is a very talented player who has the ability to play in the top flight, and if they are considering making an appropriate offer then I think we will take it seriously.’ He told the official website.

Schneiderlin, 19, joined in the summer from French side RC Strasbourg for a fee of up to £1.2 million.

Wotte feels that the League One isn’t the place for a player like Morgan: ‘It may sound a little strange, but maybe Premier League football might suit Morgan more than League One, with his superb technique, passing skills and intelligent play.’

‘Being 18 and 19 years old and having played 25 games in the Championship has contributed greatly to his maturity as a player. He has also improved his fighting spirit that comes with playing in the Championship, so I feel he is ready for the Premier League.’
