Plenty of Southampton fans want to see defender Kyle-Walker Peters stay at St Mary’s on a permanent basis.
The 23-year-old has been solid since his move from Tottenham in January and has impressed the Saints faithful following a string of strong performances.
Jose Mourinho previously said that he wants Walker-Peters to stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but insisted he would not stand in his way if he wanted to leave.
Will Kyle Walker-Peters join Southampton permanently?
Yes
No
Since he arrived from North London, the Spurs loanee has started six games, averaged 1.9 clearances, completed 1.7 dribbles and played over 600 minutes in the red and white shirt, as per Whoscored.
With this in mind, supporters are keen to see Walker-Peters stay on the South Coast permanently and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan urged him to “sign on the dotted line”, while others described him as “amazing” and “brilliant”.
Looking forward to you being with us permanently next season.
