So now we know our fixtures for next season.

They have a friendly feel to the start with Plymouth going to be our first home game of this important coming season.

Argyle will be after a good start having just dropped from the Championship. I am more than hopeful that a home win aginst them followed by another win against the Cherries in the first round of the Carling Cup will kick start our season perfectly.

The follow up is a trip to MK Dons, who will be desperate for revenge. Last season we played them four times winning all four.

Then we have Leyton Orient for another home game and we could well be sitting pretty at the top of the league with four good wins under our belt.

Jumping the gun maybe and coming so soon after we just failed last season, but I am confident that our team will be more than ready to flex it’s muscle from the off.

Alan Pardew is going to bring in some quality and strength that will really set this team of ours up for the fight ahead.

I may not be happy over some aspects of the club and it’s PR but I am more than happy with the way we are steadily moving forward.

All I can say right now is bring on our new players and let us get ready to party.
