Saints turned out to get rid off this shocking Sky Record, no points for 2 years infront of the Sky Cameras.

Stern John grabbed the only goal 15 minutes in. The game produced little as far as chances went

Cardiff never looked like scoring, Kelvin Davis and Bennett and Dailly at the back looked comfortable.

Only real chances of note were Jason Euell firing over from 12 yards when the keeper was on the floor, right at the end Alan Bennett blocked superbly from Fowler, before that Kelvin Davis had made some excellent saves to keep saints first clean sheet at home for 6 months.

Limoed off after a few minutes, played well when he was on though.

Held the ball up really well, got his goal, looks like a good deal for us.

Replaced Ostlund after a few minutes, played super well!

Offered extra pace up top, didn’t have much of an impact though.
Had a few minutes on the pitch and should have scored a sitter, nevertheless he added flair into the midfield!
