Saints turned out to get rid off this shocking Sky Record, no points for 2 years infront of the Sky Cameras.

Stern John grabbed the only goal 15 minutes in. The game produced little as far as chances went

Cardiff never looked like scoring, Kelvin Davis and Bennett and Dailly at the back looked comfortable.

Only real chances of note were Jason Euell firing over from 12 yards when the keeper was on the floor, right at the end Alan Bennett blocked superbly from Fowler, before that Kelvin Davis had made some excellent saves to keep saints first clean sheet at home for 6 months.

  • I thought Cardiff looked much the better team for long periods and you was very lucky to get all three points.
