Southampton could be set to make an offer for Arnaut Danjuma, according to Dutch outlet Voetbal International.
The 22-year-old currently plays for Belgium side Club Brugge and has three years remaining on his contract.
He is primarily a left winger but can also be utilised on the other flank or centrally. Transfermarkt value him at £10.8million. Since joining Brugge he has scored four goals and provided three assists from 12 league games.
The Saints may face competition for his signature, as the report claims Inter Milan, Tottenham, Stade Rennes, and AC Milan are all interested.
Moussa Djenepo plays in the same position to Danjuma, so it could be interesting to find out if Ralph Hasenhuttl would sign the Dutchman as competition or place him somewhere else on the field.
Voetbal suggests Danjuma wants to move to a bigger club to help his career in the international team with a view to making the European Championship squad. He has represented the Netherlands on two occasions and scored once.
With Djenepo and Che Adams already signed it would appear Hasenhuttl wants to complete his transfer business early. It could be a busy time at St Mary’s with The Telegraph claiming five first-team players could be on their way out.
