Felicity was born with a hole in the heart and needed specialist treatment which she was given at the Southampton specialist heart unit after it was selected over the Great Ormond Street unit.

Parents Daniel and Frances Williams took their toddler for the life-saving operation in May 2011 and have been taking her back for regular check-ups since.

After contacting Manchester City and Southampton FC the family will be at the game between the two teams. The family will visit the City team before the match in the away dressing room, and older brother James will be the team mascot for the game.

Father Daniel was full of praise for the doctors that saved his little girl, and both clubs for the way they have helped make the match-day a special event for his girl.

Saints are even putting little Felicity as pride of place in the match-day programme.

For me this is a story that shows there is still a heart beating within our football and sometimes even having bucket loads of money means absolutely nothing.
