Southampton Duo Near Fitness As Short Clip Shows Them Back In Training

|

It seems that Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl may soon have two fitness boosts to contend with as he looks to see his first team squad improve both their performances and our results so far in the 2019/20 Premier League campaign, as Cedric Soares has taken to social media to provide a clip of him and summer signing, Moussa Djenepo, back in indoor training as they look to make a return.

Taking to Instagram this week, the 28-year-old Portuguese international posted up the clip, with the message ‘Doing my best to be back soon’.

Doing my best to be back soon????

With Cedric seeming to get a small second lease of life under Hasenhuttl this year after last season’s loan disappointments, Djenepo has already begun impressing fans following his arrival of the summer, so their return does slightly more than simply provide our gaffer with greater options.

It should help shore up defence, as well as provide us with a bit more punch up top.

With some confusion in September over Cedric’s withdrawal from the squad to face Tottenham Hotspur, seeing him back should allay any concerns on that front as well.
