It’s time for another new name on the summer transfer rumour mill and Southampton are now being linked with having an interest in young Inter Milan centre-half Zinho Vanheusden.
The 19-year-old centre back seems to be pretty highly rated and the Belgian spent last season out on loan with Standard Liege again to boost his experience and get greater game time, and it was a pretty successful spell as he made 29 appearances across all competitions, with a return of two goals according to Soccerbase.
Those games also included Europa League action.
Outlet Het Belang van Limburg have now claimed that we have joined Wolverhampton Wanderers as keeping tabs on him, but that Inter would be looking for around the £18million mark when it came to being tempted into a deal.
Seems a steep price given he’s yet to debut for Inter, but reading round he has worked his way back from a cruciate ligament injury so that has no doubt held him back.
Might be one to watch.
